How it works

Pay Per Letter, Approved by the Creator

Step 1

Creators embed the ticker

A creator adds the Big Ticker overlay to their video or stream and shares their campaign link with their audience.

Step 2

Viewers pay per letter

Anyone can write a message and pay for it by the letter — longer messages cost more. Checkout is a simple card payment.

Step 3

The ticker carries the messages

Approved messages join the creator's embeddable ticker — an overlay they control that scrolls across the bottom of the video for everyone to see.

How It's Built

One full-stack app

A single Next.js application handles the public site, the purchase flow, the creator dashboard, and moderation tools.

Per-letter checkout

Stripe powers the checkout. The price is computed per letter, and webhook-driven fulfillment posts each message to the ticker after payment.

Rendering in the browser

The ticker overlay video is rendered entirely in the buyer's browser with WebAssembly-based ffmpeg — no server-side render pipeline required.
